About Us
Welcome to the website of Redeemer Church, and thank you for visiting. We would like to invite you to worship with us, or attend one of our other meetings during the week.
We are under the oversight of the Virginia Presbytery of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, a classically and consistently Reformed and Evangelical denomination, holding to the inerrant Word of God as our only rule of faith and practice. This congregation began in March of 2003.
We are committed to a worship service where God is the focus, where the Scriptures are our standard for praise and singing, and where the preaching is Biblical and personal.
We are committed to a loving church community, which is at the size where people can know and care for one another, and where the Christian family is drawn closer together.
We are committed to growing in grace, to a Reformed world and life view, to discipleship in all of life, to spiritual depth and sincerity, to living out our faith together, and to reaching out to others in our Father's world with the gospel and a warm helping hand.
There seems to be an expectation that churches should have a mission statement. We have none of our own, but Jesus gave the church this, that we should "go ... and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that [Christ has] commanded" (Matt 28:19-20).
